Dodge Charger Daytona

It was not until 1966 when Dodge reputation in America was considered nothing special and was treated more like an ordinary brand offering typically hire — plain boring soon. Any changes to the mark where the charger was introduced. The Dodge Charger has signaled a new era for the brand.
In 1964, Chrysler — maker of various parts including Dodge parts Dodge Ramcharger — Has come out with a 7.0 liter V8 engine that was also used by Dodge. The engine became a huge success among the street and drag racers, but unfortunately, equipped Dodge square-body lineup failed to draw attention. Thanks to the '66 Charger, Dodge was finally emerging from years of being dominant. The '66 style Charger fitted neatly in a fashion muscle car with its V8 Hemi engine makes it a part of racing history books.
The nameplate Charger returned last year, 2006, and was able to create the same effect of the Dodge brand today. The new Charger was built on the Chrysler 300 / Dodge Magnum platform of what looks like a coupe — specifically a four-door coupe. The additional gates have the new Charger, has been controversial from day one, but Dodge seems have reached well enough to attract buyers. As a matter of fact, the Charger was able to sell 159,000 units since hitting award in July 2005.
The charger also has played an important role in the TV series The Dukes of Hazzard, which aired from 1979 to 1985 and was recreated in a movie last year with the same title. Dodge charger attributed the success to the popularity of the film. They said it must have something to do with the impact of television. Before the magazine was reintroduced in the market for at least 65 percent of Americans have recognized the name of the shipper.
The Modern Charger
The modern Charger has a length of 200.1 inches and a wheelbase of 120 inches. It can accommodate five passengers, though not extensive, but what does it do when you is the appearance and power under the hood. Some of the exterior features of identification of new Charger DECKLID are your lights off, letters of Daytona and his wing black ass.
But beyond the looks is the sound of the V8 with a note that could be confused with a muscle car. However this simply demonstrates that the engineers did a great job when it comes to adjusting the sound magazine. The new Charger is equipped with an exhaust courtesy customer preferred package 28V. It also comes with an upgraded suspension with self-adjusting dampers all seasons 235/55R and performance for the standard 18-inch aluminum wheels. Outside are rear deck lid spoiler, R / T badge, a painted HEMI engine cover, and a HEMI decal on the hood. And New Year model, 20-inch wheels ZR20 rubber with 245/445 are available for the Daytona R / T. Inside the Daytona R / T is equipped with perforated leather seats / Suede cover, along with the pedals adjustable and heated power front seats, and power.
Engine
The engine is the main reason why you would want a Daytona Charger in the first place. Its 340 hp, 5.7-liter HEMI V8 drives the rear wheels of a madman, heart stopping speed. The new Charger is much more comfortable than muscle cars of the past that is despite its contemporary design booth.
The only drawback of the Charger Daytona is your address, if not as sharp as expected, but again the charger has to do to influence what it lacks. The direction, though not sharp, but is obedient and accurate and fast. The suspension is well tuned and even of its five-speed automatic transmission is easy to use. AutoStick transmission downshifts quickly and no need for the heavy lifting of the foot.
Also a good thing the Charger Daytona HEMI comes with the famous Chrysler MDS Multi-Displacement System that deactivates four-cylinder smoothly in a blink of an eye and in the process of improving fuel economy, especially when the power is not needed. The new Charger can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 5.6 seconds and only burns over 25 miles per gallon of gasoline. Antilock brakes brakes improve the capacity of the Charger Daytona.
