Eclipse GST 97 – how to convert a AWD import and where to start when engine rebuild.?

I have a Eclipse GST 1997. This is Automatic import of front-wheel drive, but I think has great potential. First things first, I like that its an automatic, and the car is worth sentimental, so I probably will not get rid of it. But I would turn it into a manual transmission. If anyone has some advice on that, I'd like to hear. Secondly, I would put the suspension and axles of a AWD eclipse mine. (A lot of people not expected to) Ñusta wondering what all that would to have to get that done. Finally I'm rebuilding the engine. I wondered what would be the best place to start. exhaust? cameras? pistons? please only respond if we are talking about.

Just responding to part of the gearbox because that's all I know for sure. Everything you do is to get a gearbox with a manual version of another eclipse gene itself. Should fit right
