Mini Cooper Convertable

What kind of car should I get?

I get a new car and do not know what to get. Now I'm thinking of either Cooper Beetle After 1.Mini 2.VW I decide then to have to think about the colors and I want time convertible or not lol! So I do know that many of you will say get the copper, but if any of you have or have been in a beetle let me know what you think of them as well, which one is better and why? My biggest concern is, of course, MPG, and the durability / longevity. Prices dont really bother me much, especially since I am taking the time to invest in a new vehicle, but I'm sure I want a small vehicle. I do not want hybrid or Prius or sport and such a little I make my decision between these two. Thank you!
